Banoffie Pie

Ingredients:
6 oz crushed digestives 3 oz butter/margerine 2/3 ripe bananas can condensed milk (must be condensed milk and not evaporated milk) Whipped Cream

Instructions:
This is an absolutely scrumptious dessert. I have made it many times and so has my daughter and friends without the can exploding but do it at your own risk!! Mix digestives with melted butter and spread over a 7 or 8 inch tin. Slice bananas and spread over the top. Boil unopened can of condensed milk for about two and a half hours. If you keep the lid on it helps to stop the water evaporating but check it does not boil dry. Cool for 5 mins. open, stir, when stopped steaming, about 15 minutes, spread over bananas. Whip cream very thick and put on top of mixture when cold.
